THE JORDAN SHOE BOX

Air Jordan Shoe Box I - AIO BotJORDAN I

1985
This is where the entire Jordan lineup history started. However, as monumental as that moment was, its Jordan shoe box was pretty basic! It came with the OG red and white Nike box!

Air Jordan Shoe Box II - AIO BotJORDAN II

1987
Next, AJII! The Air Jordan IIs marked the beginning of the truly spectacular Jordan shoe box. Nike really decided to shake it up with a box featuring the OG WINGS logo. Each one came with a ‘MADE IN ITALY’ symbol!

Air Jordan Shoe Box III - AIO BotAIR JORDAN III

1988
So, if you don’t already know the story, Michael Jordan stayed with Nike because of the Air Jordan IIIs. And, it was also the very first Jordan that Tinker Hatfield designed for the Jordan Brand! Its Jordan shoe box came with an all-cement pattern! Pretty savage!

AJ IV - AIO BotJORDAN IV

1989
But, what about the IVs? The Air Jordan IVs came with a pretty straightforward box! It featured a completely black cover with the red Jumpman branding!

Air Jordan Shoe Box V - VI - AIO Bot

JORDAN V

1990
Next, moving on to the 90s sneakers!
And, what better way to start a new decade than with a whole new Jordan! The Vs marked a huge change! But, not for the Jordan shoe box!

AIR JORDAN VI

1991
So, the thing about the VIs is that, not only are they one of the most incredible Jordans ever! But, they also released it with a cement-splattered base box!

AJ VII - VIII - IX - X - AIO BotJORDAN VII

1992
At this point, Nike was kinda slacking!

JORDAN VIII

1993
Although this model shared the same Jordan shoe box, it got the slightest update! A black and silver colorway!

AIR JORDAN IX

1994
After MJ got his third ring, he decided to leave the game. And so, the Air Jordan IX marked the first Jordan release without MJ!
BUT, they still used the same box!

JORDAN X

1995
At this point, it was basically crickets for the Jordan shoe box!

AJ XI - XII - AIO BotJORDAN XI

1996
Although Nike decided to use this box twice, it was actually the last of its design! The black and red cover box.

AIR JORDAN XII

1997
The Air Jordan XII used the same black box with the red cover for its release. A sneaker box that pays homage to the Bulls colorway!

Air_Jordan XIII - XIV - AIO BotJORDAN XIII

1998
Next, we’ve got a very special Jordan shoe box – the Air Jordan XIII box. This was the first one NOT to come with the Nike Swoosh or Air logo! Only Jumpman!

JORDAN XIV

1999
The Air Jordan XIVs also used the same box as the XIIIs. But, what makes them special is that this was the LAST one MJ wore with the Bulls!

Air Jordan Shoe Box XV - XVI - AIO BotAIR JORDAN XV

2000
These never hit Mike’s feet but the box remained the same as the last two models and helped put an end to Jordan Brand as we remember it when Michael Jordan was in white, red, and black.

JORDAN XVI

2001
Also, this release recycled the same white, red, and black box!

Air Jordan Shoe Box XVII - AIO BotJORDAN XVII

2002
It was the year 2002, and Jordan was back to business! And so, this called for a special Jordan shoe box release! This one came with a briefcase and an interactive CD!

AJ XVIII - AIO BotAIR JORDAN XVIII

2003
Also, the XVIII is another cool Jordan shoe box display that came with a brush and towel. We assume that this was to help you clean your Jordans!

AJ XIX - AIO BotJORDAN XIX

2004
However, the Jordan shoe box that takes the cake happens to be the Air Jordan XIX! It came with a two-tone split case that parted when you opened it! Half grey half black! Very innovative and creative!

AJ XX - AIO BotJORDAN XX

2005
This Jordan shoe box was also a recycled version of the XIX but it had velcro straps instead! And, it came with a premium mesh bag inside the box! And, it had an orange box cover!

Air Jordan Shoe Box XXI - AIO BotAIR JORDAN XXI

2006
But, sometimes having a special shoe box backfires! The Air Jordan XXI came with a chunky bulky box! It was also SO tall!

AJ XXII - AIO BotJORDAN XXII

2007
The only way to describe this Jordan shoe box is a Big Mac box.

AJ XXIII - AIO BotJORDAN XXIII

2008
The 2008 box was the last one that featured a roman numerical system. It came with a black textured case and very little branding.

Air_Jordan XXVI - AIO BotAIR JORDAN XXIV

2009
Also, another epic-looking Jordan shoe box happens to be the one with the Air Jordan XXIVs. Although it looked like some kind of geometric shape, it was still epic!

AJ XXV - AIO BotJORDAN XXV

2010
And, we can’t forget about the Air Jordan XXV that came with a SUPER generic cardboard box! A super basic box!

JORDAN XXVI

2011
The 2011 Jordan was part of the “Choose Your Flight” campaign that also came with a white box. But, the J definitely made up for it!

Air Jordan Shoe Box XXXVII - AIO BotAIR JORDAN XXVII

2012
Then, a year later, we got the Jordan shoe box that was definitely on its way to fly. It was an all-black box with a three-tier construction!

Air Jordan Shoe Box XXVIII - AIO BotJORDAN XXVIII

2013
But then, the XX8s came out, and they were a bit more controversial. Thankfully, they didn’t look like a Big Mac box. But, they did look like a laptop case more than a sneaker case!

Air Jordan Shoe Box XX9 - AIO BotJORDAN XXVIV

2014
The Air Jordan XX9 was a pioneer of all Jordans! And, it came with a very cool Jordan shoe box with a special pattern. The burnt red color with the black combo made for a definite winner!

AJ XXX - AIO BotJORDAN XXX

2015
Finally, to conclude our list, we’ve got the Air Jordan XXX. This shoe box featured the white cover box with the OG, classic black case! A true timeless Jordan shoe box!
