Early 2017 Air Jordan Release Preview – Start off the New Year With Top of the Line Style

By November 25, 2016July 30th, 2020Jordan

It’s the most wonderful time of the year as we indulge in holiday treats, spend time with loved ones, and prepare to ring in the new year. With 2017 on the horizon, everyone awaits the exciting things to come. And we sneaker fanatics are on top of the hottest Jordan releases. So if updating your wardrobe with the Air Jordan 13 Black Cat is part of your new year’s resolution, check out these upcoming designs we can’t wait to slip our feet into.

1.) Air Jordan 4 Royalty

Kicking off early January right, we have the newest edition of Air Jordan 4’s. Maintaining the same image of the previous installments such as the Triple Black and Fire Red, the Royalty offers an all new, eye-catching color scheme that will turn heads your way. With metallic gold branding and wing tips, a clean white midsole, and a classic black base, it’s hard to resist these $190 sneakers.

2.) Air Jordan 12 Low Max Orange

If you’re aiming to break away from the traditional high-top vibe, this low-top release is worth waiting for. Done up in a brilliant combination of leather, suede, and carbon fiber, the $170 Air Jordan 12 Low’s make their entrance with a vibrant collision of colors from the black base to the orange detailing on the sides, tongue, and heel and let’s not forget to mention the anthracite overlay that adds a deviant touch to these shoes.

3.) Air Jordan 15 Stealth

Third time’s the charm when it comes to this retro design. Previously released in 1999 and then again in 2007, the NASA inspired Stealth’s will retain the same look as its predecessors. That means we can expect the same black woven base, leather mudguard, and mesh tongue with varsity red accents on the heel and toe. You can expect its third appearance on January 7th.

4.) Air Jordan 13 Black Cat

Take a walk on the wild side! The Air Jordan 13 Black Cat design is solely inspired by the Black Panther. Staying true to the 13’s highly praised silhouette, this installment took things up a notch with the black paw prints crafted into the outsole and to amplify their cool factor, the holograms mimic cat eyes when the lights are out, fully representing the iconic cat. We can expect these jungle-styled sneakers towards the end of January.

5.) Air Jordan 12 OVO

Stepping into the All-Star Weekend in February, we’ll be introduced to one the best OVO designs so far. Opposing its white and gold competition, the black on black 12 OVO’s will have many features including the gold owl stamped on the insoles, translucent soles, and a unique mud guard overlay complimented with a textured string ray inspired design. The dark style will start at around $220.

6.) Air Jordan 8 Undefeated

Searching for a color scheme that stands out in the crowd? This army inspired theme might be just what you’re looking for! Taking after the Air Jordan 5 Olive, the Undefeated consists of an olive-green base combined with max orange accents and black detailing with hints of wolf gray. This unique style will be available for both men and grade school kids with prices ranging from roughly $140-$190.

7.) Air Jordan 6 Chameleon

Yet, the most appealing sneaker to come early next year is the new Air Jordan 6. Receiving its name from the iridescent leather overlay which shifts in shade when moving, the black and teal Chameleon features some awesome aspects such as translucent outsoles, iridescent midsoles and laces, as well as reflective details. Taking some inspiration from the Air Jordan 12 Wings model, the uppers will change color when rubbed. Overall, these $225 kicks will be the highlight of February 2017.
