If you’ve been in the sneaker game long enough you’d know that Kobe Bryant wasn’t only the NBA GOAT, but he also was one to contribute to the black community. And did that through his collaboration with Nike. Although not a yearly thing, throughout the years, the late NBA player dropped several Kobe x Nike sneakers in celebration of the African-American heritage. And Nike’s making sure to keep that line going as it plans to drop a new Kobe 6 BHM Protro in 2024! So, let’s see what it’s all about.

Kobe 6 BHM Protro
We do love us some unconventional new colorways, but we definitely wouldn’t be complaining when Nike offers some lowkey and simple ones from time to time. Either way, we already got a Grinch Kobe 6. So, we gotta balance things out a little, you know?
This being said, the new Nike Kobe 6 BHM Protro comes in a simple White and Metallic Gold colorway. It mostly features a clean white snakeskin-like pattern all throughout. We’ve also got Metallic Gold accents on the heel counter and Swoosh. So, basically, these kicks feature a color blocking similar to the BHM Kobe 6 from 2011. The only difference is that the new Kobes swap out the Black colorway for White. Kobe’s inspiring “Be Legendary” motto in Gold and a BHM logo finish off the look.
Finally, as we still got no official release details, but rumor has it that the Kobe 6 Protro BHM will drop sometime in February 2024 for $190. And as usual, you’ll be able to catch it off Nike SNKRS and Nike retailers!
