The Nike Civilist partnership is back again with the new Nike x Civilist Air Force 1 color-changing sneaker. This all-new release comes 2 years after Swoosh’s very first collaboration with Civilist Berlin back in 2020. The collaboration that featured the Nike SB Dunk Low that shares a lot of similarities with the current drop!

If you haven’t seen the previous Nike Dunk iteration, then you won’t understand what makes this AF1 so special! The Nike Civilist Air Force 1 seems like a pretty harmless completely black AF1 with white midsoles and rubber outsoles. However, it goes a lot beyond that! In fact, these Air Force 1s could be described as anything BUT harmless with their epic hidden trick!
The Nike Civilist Air Force 1 comes with heat-activated uppers that turn into a colorful heat map! It changes into a colorway of Blue, Green, Orange, Red, and Yellow – literally all the colors of the temperature spectrum. Other special features include the Civilist branding in debossed writing on the heel. A feature that was also in the Nike SB Dunk version but it was on the tab near the Swoosh instead! Also, other branding includes the tongue tag Civilist smiley face and the pink AIR branding on the white midsoles.Â
Finally, finishing off the sneaker, it ends at clean, white midsoles and rubber gum outsoles. The pair will come with bright red laces that you can thread through the leather eyelets! Plus, make sure to check out this size guide before you go to the release!
