The 5 Rarest Yeezys You’ve Probably NEVER Seen in Your Lifetime!

The Top 5 Rarest Yeezys - AIO BotSo, let’s talk about the rarest Yeezys in the industry… We’re talking about crazy limited, probably never seen on foot, type of rare Yeezys.

You see, there was a time when Kanye West shoes were the epitome of super limited, hyped sneakers. If we could pinpoint the time that limited releases became a legit thing, we’d say when Ye joined the game. This is kinda ironic considering his “Yeezys for All” motto. BUT, he’s definitely keeping his promise these days.

And so, to commemorate some of his most limited drops, we’ve decided to put together this list of rare Yeezys. Everything before Kanye decided to overflow the market with Yeezys and force us to resort to other copping means. It is because of Mr. West himself that copping in bulk and copping the entire stock is a thing! A skill that you should definitely learn while the year is still at its start! Click on the button below to learn how to do that!

To preface, we are not including the Nike Air Yeezy I “Prototype” – the most expensive sneaker sold at an auction. Because, well, a six-figure sneaker resale is a bit too much for us to handle here! But, there’s no doubt that the Nike Air Yeezy I “Prototype” sneakers are definitely the rarest Yeezys ever. Especially with a resale value of 1.8 MILLION dollars.

Kanye wore these Yeezys during the 50th Annual Grammy Awards in 2008 that Sotheby’s sold at an auction. Therefore, making it the rarest and most expensive sneaker in the world! But, for now, let’s stick to slightly less expensive but somewhat equally rare Yeezys! Of course, this was all before Kanye rigged the supply/demand system!

Rarest Yeezys - Nike Air Yeezy Glow - AIO Bot#1 Nike Air Yeezy Black/Glow
RAREST 👑👑👑👑👑

Release Date: Never Released
Retail Price: NA
Average Resale: $65,000

First, starting with one of the rarest Yeezys ever, the Nike Air Yeezy Black Glow. This was yet another limited release from the Nike Yeezy era and was a personal one-on-one promo made for Kanye. These never actually retailed, so you definitely have NEVER seen anyone flex these. Apparently, even Kanye West himself never got to wear these!

A Soho sneaker consignment store – Rare Pair – put the (2008) promo sample up for sale on eBay for $65,000. These came in a US size 12 and were completely deadstock. It had black leather-based uppers and glow-in-the-dark detailings including the Swoosh and outsole. Also, they reportedly came with Kanye’s personal writing in a Black Sharpie on the OG Orange Nike sneaker box.

Nike_Yeezy Net Tan - AIO Bot#2 Nike Air Yeezy 1 Net Tan
RARE 👑👑👑👑

Release Date: April 4th, 2009
Retail Price: $250
Average Resale: $4,576

Next, we’ve got yet another of our rarest Yeezys and the final Nike Air Yeezy 1 colorway. The Nike Air Yeezy 1 Net Tan is the third and last Yeezy from the 2009 lineup. It dropped alongside Blink and Zen Grey that same year. The thing about this release was that Nike only dropped 3,000 pairs of the three colorways in total! Some say there was around a thousand pair of Net Tans, some say they were much less! But, either way, they’re very rare – especially in such a cool colorway!

Nike_Yeezy Solar Red - AIO Bot#3 Nike Air Yeezy 2 Solar Red

Release Date: September 6th, 2012
Retail Price: $250
Average Resale: $7,442

On the other hand, we’ve got the Nike Air Yeezy 2 Solar Red – one of the rarest Yeezys too! Maybe we can consider this one more of a limited release that is actually super rare? The release featured only 5,000 pairs – including the Nike Air Yeezy 2 Pure Platinum. But, the red accents on the completely black sneaker definitely gave it an edge! These will definitely be some of the most memorable Kanye sneakers ever.

Rarest Yeezys - Red October - AIO Bot#4 Nike Air Yeezy 2 Red October

Release Date: February 9th, 2014
Retail Price: $250
Average Resale: $12,275

Also, we can NOT forget about the epic Yeezy that definitely earned a position on the list of rarest Yeezys. The Nike Air Yeezy 2 Red October is not as limited as the others on this list. But, considering this was the very last Nike Yeezy release, it is definitely super special. The Red Octobers mark the end of the contract between Nike and Kanye. It was a super lowkey release without a single Tweet from Nike. They sold out globally in less than half an hour! Later that same year, Adidas signed Kanye!

Adidas Yeezy_Boost Turtledove - AIO Bot#5 Adidas Yeezy BOOST 350 Turtledove

Release Date: June 27th, 2015
Retail Price: $200
Average Resale: $1,688

Finally, the last one of the rarest Yeezys is more uncommon than truly rare. But when you compare it to the number of pairs releasing for 350s nowadays, it feels VERY rare. If there’s one Yeezy that the industry has no shortage of, it is the 350s! But, the Yeezy Boost 350 Turtledove is definitely uncommon. Also, this colorway happens to be the very first Yeezy 350 colorway. Ever since then, it was pretty downhill when it comes to limited 350s!

BUT, there’s still a bit of hope! We still got some 350 colorways that did not get excessively produced and released. And, some didn’t even get to make it to 2021’s Yeezy Day – like the Core Black Pack for example! Definitely one of the rarest Yeezys for the 350s!

These were no doubt one of the greatest Yeezy 350 colorways with some of the best Yeezy resale ever. They did not get a restock, they didn’t make it to Yeezy Day… They’re basically as rare as unreleased Yeezys! HOWEVER, they are kinda making a comeback in 2022 and with new colorways. The new Dazzling Blue and the restock of the Core White Black!

So, make sure you keep it locked on our blog for more updates on these rare releases!
