Trophy Room goes back to 1985
This new Trophy Room iteration is an Air Jordan 1 Retro designed by Marcus, Michael Jordan’s Son. The Trophy Room Jordan 1 brings the best twist to the Chicago colorway and reminiscent memories of MJ’s golden days. These kicks will beat most hyped 2021 Jordan 1 colorways, as they pay homage to MJ’s first appearance in the 1985 All-Star NBA games in Indiana. The Air Jordan Bred was revived in 2018. But Marcus’s touches will certainly stand out.
Release Date of the Trophy Room Jordan 1
Marcus’s footwear Boutique wanted to create new pairs that still show the sign of the time. And the red weathered leather overlays have done a great job in that matter. Add to that, its sail midsole resembles the old yellow-tinted ones. Trophy Room however modernized the OGs using a translucent outsole instead of red. The see-through outsole highlights four stars; two red and two blue. The colors that pay tribute to the rookie’s Jersey in the All-Star game. The Trophy Room Jordan 1 preserves the traditional Nike Air tongue, white upper, and black swoosh. These are stitched using a contrasting white thread instead of the OG red. The insole features a co-branded Air Jordan x Trophy Room patch.
The heel signature on the heel of this pair reminds us of Michael Jordan’s originals. The OG kicks that Michael Jordan wore to the 1985 games and have his autographed were auctioned and sold for £460,000. Trophy Room’s AJ1 are so hype that we expect their resale price to skyrocket as well. StockX hit $3,200 as an average resale price whereas you can buy a new pair on Goat starting $2,600, for now.
