Top 10 Coolest Yeezy 700 Releases To Date

By July 27, 2023August 2nd, 2023Adidas, Yeezy

AIO Bot - Best Yeezy 700 DropsOne of the cornerstone silhouettes for the Yeezy x Adidas partnership was the Adidas Yeezy 700. In fact, Ye’s shift from the low-top Yeezy 350 V1 and V2 to the Yeezy 700 in 2017 introduced a new side of his design aesthetic. West took inspiration from Balenciaga’s Triple S sneakers that ignited the chunky sneaker trend or “dad shoe” back then.

Now, although this change wasn’t welcomed the way Kanye wished for, Ye’s marketing tactics did the job just fine. And by the time the first Yeezy Boost 700 was released, sneakerheads had already fallen in love with it. Resale-wise? Yeezy 700s don’t even know the meaning of disappointment when it comes to that. They literally were a pathway into the reselling world for many. So, let’s check out the coolest designs the 700s had to offer up till now.

Now, Adidas has released multiple variations of the 700s over the years. Each of these versions contains its own unique design features that bring out the artistry of Kanye West’s designs. The four models include different colorways that range from Ye’s usual tonals to some pretty vibrant shades.

Yeezy Boost 700

Yeezy Boost 700 or Yeezy Boost 700 V1 where the start of it all. The shoes, like everything by Kanye, received harsh criticism for its unique ‘Dad shoes’ vibes. But soon enough, the trend caught on, and people were rushing to purchase the new ‘trendy’ sneakers. Did someone say consumerism?

Moreover, the collection came out in 2017, and what made it featured an upper made of suede overlays and premium leather with mesh underlays. A reflective heel and the iconic Three Stripe details.

Yeezy Boost 700 V2

Another variation of the new trendy Dad shoes continues in the Yeezy Boost 700 V2 collection. The collection boasts a new design and features an upper composed of roller knit and premium leather with nubuck overlays with reflective details throughout.

Yeezy 700 V3

The line continues with the Yeezy 700 V3, which made its debut in late 2019. It features an upper made of monofilament-engineered mesh with RPU overlays for structure and durability. What makes the RPU cage unique is the glow-in-the-dark features that provide a great look and feel. Moreover, the tongue has a reflectivity that emits light in darkness.

Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN

The final collection in the Yeezy 700 line is the Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN, which emerged in 2020. This collection features an upper composed of lightweight polyester with no-sew overlays which offers enhanced breathability, flexibility, and comfort. The no-tie bungee laces allow for easy on-and-off wear. Moreover, there is evidence of reflective material that emits light in darkness throughout specific areas of the model.

10 Best Yeezy 700 To Ever Drop

Adidas and Kanye’s relationship was good until it wasn’t. And Adidas really didn’t know how high Ye’s partnership took them until they felt the lows when they terminated the contract between them. However, now that they got back together and started selling Yeezys again, Adidas’ stock climbed up. And as Adidas blew the cover off the upcoming Yeezy lineup, the hype is back in full force. Because that lineup will include more than one Yeezy 700 pair!

So, as we just said, Yeezy Boost 700s usually resell for way more than their retail. So, if you’re on a budget or you wanna make sneaker reselling your main side hustle, you’ve got to learn how to catch sneakers for retail. And this starts with getting yourself one of the best sneaker bots out there. Lucky for you, we’ve got a whole list of them made just for you! All you need to do is click on the red button below and the list is yours!

#1 Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 Wave Runner OG

These kicks made their debut during the Yeezy Season 5 fashion show back in 2017. Then, they released, or kinda released, publicly on August 12th, 2017. This, however, was not a typical release. Sneakerheads had to pre-order the sneakers only to have them delivered by November or later even.

Following that initial release, the OG Wave Runners restocked 2 more times, in March and September 2018. To date, and with all the restocks, the original Waverunner is one of the most profitable colorways of the Yeezy Boost 700.

Retail Price: $300
Average Resale: $379

#2 Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 Mauve

AKA Kiwi! This colorway dropped around a month after the OG’s last restock. The new Mauve colorway was quite the change from the Grey OGs. While Brown almost completely covers the uppers, vibrant hits of Volt/Lime across the outsoles add a great contrasting touch.

When these Yeezys first dropped they sold for a solid $1K. But as time went by, they lost most of their resale value to settle around the MSRP.

#3 Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 Static

For quite a long time, Kanye had been promising a v2 of the Yeezy 700, and back in December 2018, he delivered. The Static was the first colorway of the almost all-new 700 V2 line. The Yeezy Boost 700 V2 Static looked like it belonged to a pack along with the 350 V2 Static & Reflective.

All dressed in White and Grey, the 700 V2 Static features an upper composed of roller knit, White premium leather, and nubuck overlays. In addition, reflective detailing can be seen throughout the uppers while the midsole holds the infamous BOOST material

As for resale, this Yeezy Boost 700 makes sneakerheads sigh in relief that they didn’t waste money on proxies to cop these. They’re available for purchase on StockX for retail price. Except if you’re a size 17, you’re then paying a big fat $400 for a pair.

Release Date: December 29th, 2018
Retail Price: $300
Average Resale: $302

#4 Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 Magnet

This Yeezy 700 dropped on the 9th of September in 2019. Sneakerheads waited months for this Wave Runner-like sneaker to drop. Matter of fact, the drop of the Yeezy Boost 700 Magnet brought about a Waver Runners vs Magnets debate that is yet to be settled.

It mainly features a suede upper with multiple shades of Grey, Orange accents on the midsole, and a gum rubber sole unit. It also comes in reflective materials on the heel that make it glow in the dark. This pair currently has the highest resale value compared to other Yeezy 700s.

#5 Adidas Yeezy 700 V3 Dark Glow

Being the odd one out, this Yeezy 700 V3 features a black Primeknit upper with a black TPU cage. Which to no surprise glows vivid blue when exposed to the dark. As it should TBH! In addition, an EVA foam sole adds support for a cushioned and highly comfortable fit.

Retail Price: $200
Average Resale: $386

#6 Adidas Yeezy 700 Inertia

This 700 featured Blue/Grey uppers constructed with the usual mix of suede and mesh. The standout feature in this colorway was the Peach accents on the midsole and the Light Gum rubber outsole. The Inertias were sold for a maximum of $738 on StockX, on release day. Talk about emotional shopping! But now, they’re making sneakerheads much less profit. But they still make a good deal, if you ask us.

Release Date: March 9th, 2019
Retail Price: $300
Average Resale: $442

#7 Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 Geode

Exactly 2 weeks after the inertias’ drop, a new Yeezy Boost 700 dropped. Which was on March 23rd, 2019. The Geode is a V2, so no colorful eccentric hint on the midsole. But the dark tones utilized in this version worked so well together.

The Geode featured a dark mesh base with Brown leather and Grey suede overlays. The signature abstract Three Stripes graphic on the midfoot is made out of high-vis reflective material. Finally, a classic gum outsole holds the BOOST material and gives off a great contrasting aesthetic.

#8 Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 Analog

This colorway dropped at the perfect time, right when the weather got warmer. The Analog offers a clean and minimalistic style mixing hues of white and ivory. The uppers featured a mixture of mesh, suede, and leather with small pops of reflective material closer to the heel. And the outsole offers a great contrasting touch being smoky black.

Despite being weather-convenient, the resale price of this pair is not one to brag about. Although it sold for around $600 a couple of times, its price is less than the retail now.

Release Date: April 27th, 2019
Retail Price: $300
Average Resale: $274

#9 Yeezy 700 MNVN Orange

We gotta give it to Kanye, he really went out of his way with this one. The Yeezy 700 MNVN mode, when it dropped, aligned so well with Ye’s then-futuristic vision. And so this pair of Yeezys was the start of all space/ Alien-inspired styles. And the Orange, oh well it brought life to a pretty subtle range of colorways. This Yeezy 700 features orange nylon uppers paired with reflective detailing. A solid black sole with the iconic Boost cushioning boosts the appeal of this one-of-a-kind pair.

Release Date: February 28, 2020

Average Resale: $394

#10 Yeezy Boost 700 Utility Black

Be it, Summer or Winter, Black never runs out of style. And if we wanna be more accurate the Yeezy Boost 700 Utility Black will always be the IT sneaker. This Yeezy 700 dropped in 2019 and featured a washed Black mesh, leather, and suede monochrome upper giving out a vintage look. Now, this is the kind of Yeezy that you wish you bought in bulk.

Because as you may know Yeezys are restocking now, but that stock will run out sometime in the future. And a long-term partnership between Ye and Adidas doesn’t look to be in the making. West held a secret Yeezy show not a while before he reunited with the Three Stripes. Meaning that Yeezy resale value, in general, will go sky-high sooner or later. So, if you’ve got a pair, you’re a winner whether you sell it now or later! If not, you still have a chance to redeem that as Yeezys will be dropping all through August 2023!

Yeezy Boost 700 Utility Black

Release Date: June 29th, 2019
