Coolest Yeezy 700 To Date? Yeezy 700 V2 Vanta Drops Soon!

Adidas and Kanye’s partnership is now just over 4 years old. And during these 4 years, we had the chance to see, cop, and flip so many Yeezys. One of the cornerstone silhouettes for this partnership was the Adidas Yeezy 700.

After a long list of low top Yeezy 350 V1 and V2, the Yeezy 700 was a real change. And a pathway into the reselling world at first. It was inspired by the dominating dad-shoe trend back in 2017, ignited by the infamous Balenciaga Triple S. Although this change wasn’t welcomed the way Kanye would wish for, influencer marketing nailed it. And by the time the first Yeezy Boost 700 released, sneakerheads had already fallen in love with it.

At the time we’re writing this article, 7 Yeezy boost 700 have already dropped, each retailing for $300. While they’re not all equally hyped or profitable at resale, they make up for a big portion of the Adidas Yeezy legacy. Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 OG

made their debut during the Yeezy Season 5 fashion show back in 2017. Then, they released, or kinda released, publicly on August 12th, 2017. This, however, was not a typical release. Sneakerheads had to pre-order the sneakers only to have them delivered by November or later even. Following that initial release, the OG waverunners restocked 2 more times, in March and September 2018.

To date, and with all the restocks, the original Waverunner is one of the most profitable colorways of the Yeezy Boost 700.

AKA Kiwi! This colorway dropped around a month after the OG’s last restock. The new Mauve colorway was quite the change from the Grey OGs. While Brown almost completely covers the uppers, vibrant hits of volt/ Lime across the outsoles add a great contrasting touch.

When these Yeezys first dropped they sold for a solid $1K. But as time went by, they lost most of their resale value to settle around the MSRP.

Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 Static

For quite a long time Kanye had been promising a v2 of the Yeezy 700, and back in December 2018, he delivered. The Static was the first colorway of the almost all-new 700 V2 line. The Yeezy Boost 700 V2 Static looked like it belonged to a pack along with the 350 V2 static & Reflective.

All dressed in White and Grey the 700 V2 Static features an upper composed of roller knit, White premium leather, and nubuck overlays. In addition, reflective detailing can be seen throughout the uppers while the midsole holds the infamous BOOST material.

The Static Yeezy 700 V2 is now, the most expensive 700 at resale. Not that it makes a remarkable profit, but it’s sure more worthy than other colorways.

The first 700 in 2019. In terms of aesthetics and design, the Salts didn’t offer anything new. TBH they looked like worn-out OGs or Mauves. Grey on Grey uppers, with no additional colors, hints or special features. It felt like Adidas needed to release a Yeezy, any Yeezy, and came up with this. When initially released, the 700 Salt was sold for. But as with almost all Yeezys, within a couple of weeks, they shed more than half their value.

Now, you can cop a Yeezy 700 Salt off of reselling platforms, for retail price. Great deal!

Adidas Yeezy 700 Inertia

This 700 featured a Blue/Grey uppers constructed with the usual mix of suede and mesh. The standout feature in this colorway was the Peach accents on the midsole and the Light Gum rubber outsole. , the Inertias were sold for a maximum of $738 on StockX, on release day. Talk about emotional shopping!

But now it makes sneakerheads sigh in relief that they didn’t waste money on proxies to cop these. They’re available for purchase on StockX for retail price. Except if you’re a size 17, you’re then paying a big fat $800 for a pair!

Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 Geode

Exactly 2 weeks after the inertias’ drop, a new Yeezy Boost 700 releases on March 23rd, 2019. The Geode is a V2, so no colorful eccentric hint on the midsole. But the dark tones utilized in this version worked so well together.

The “Geode” featured a dark mesh base with brown leather and grey suede overlays. The signature abstract “Three Stripes” graphic on the midfoot is made out of high-vis reflective material. Finally, a classic gum outsole holds the BOOST material and gives off a great contrasting aesthetic.

Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 Analog

Well, this pair dropped like a week ago.

This colorway dropped at the perfect time, right when the weather got warmer. The “Analog” offers a clean and minimalistic style mixing hues of white and ivory. The uppers featured a mixture of mesh, suede, and leather with small pops of reflective material closer to the heel. And the outsole offers a great contrasting touch being smoky black.

Despite being weather-convenient, the resale price of this pair is not one to brag about. Although it sold for around $600 a couple of times, it’s price now.

New Yeezy Release: 700 Vanta

Back in March, the YeezyMafia shared a rendered image of a new Yeezy release. Vanta, which is an all-black version of the Yeezy Boost 700 V2 is supposedly releasing soon.

Although dropping a black pair of sneakers in summer is not the smartest move, but sneakerheads are taking it relatively well. At least that’s what we could tell from the comments on that tweet.

And while we all wait impatiently for any new Yeezy release, some information leaked on Twitter sharing some not-yet-official release dates.

We’ll keep an eye wide open for those new Yeezys. That rumored Antlia looks Fire AF! Looks like you might need a Yeezy bot once again!

Resale Predictions

We have high hopes for the Yeezy 700 Vanta. All-black sneakers are a welcomed addition during any season.
Now, if Adidas and Kanye limit the production of these, we’re looking at a very very hyped release. And you can expect the Yeezy Vanta to sell for over $600. However, if they’re gonna mess this up, the way they did with previous releases, then you can just cop them at resale!

UPDATE: New Yeezy 700s Since the Vantas

Ever since we got the very cool-looking 700 Vanta, we got 3 new Yeezy 700 V2s, 3 V1s and a family restock of the Waverunners. So what were the following 700s?

My personal favorite the Yeezy 700 v2 Tephra, Utility Black, V2 Inertia, Magnet, V2 Hospital Blue, and the latest Teal Blue.Which we got many mockups for, none of which resembled the real thing. A glitch we hope disappears when Yeezy production moves to the U.S. In addition of course to 8 previously seen 700 colorways joining in on the crazy Yeezy deadstock day!

To date, there’s no end to the Yeezy 700 line. Not in the foreseeable future at least. Especially that we recently got news that the brand new Yeezy 700 V3 and Yeezy MNVN are becoming a reality.

2020 Yeezy Releases

So in case, you thought the 700s were over and gone, you thought wrong. Just as we were prepping to jump into 2002, a brand new third version of the 700’s appeared in our life. The Yeezy 700 V3 Azael released on December 23rd, 2019 and the black version, The Avlah released in very limited numbers on February 15th, 2020. Once again the V3 Alvahs are going to drop. This time however it seems the release will be a bit wider. Giving more sneakerheads the chance to rock Kanye’s latest creation. Wait for it on April 11th, 2020. And the resale value of both V3 colorways is to prove that Kanye still knows what his fam likes.
