Yeezy Desert Rat 500 Blush: First Yeezy of 2018!

By January 15, 2018October 5th, 2018Adidas, Yeezy

Whenever any Yeezy news hits the internet, sneakerheads around the world freeze behind their screens to know all they need to prepare for the big day. And when words on The Yeezy Desert Rat 500 surfaced, the world couldn’t stand still.
Apparently, Adidas and Kanye will kick-off their Yeezy Season with the Yeezy Desert Rat 500, which is now called Blush.

Features of The Yeezy Desert Rat 500 Blush

The Yeezy Desert Rat 500 Blush features the same bulky, dad-shoe looks as the Waverunners. However, the construction material is quite different. An interesting mixture of Cow Leather, Mesh and Suede constitute the outers of the shoe. And as we all know the soles of this Yeezy are not made of BOOST. Instead, they’re made out of Adidas’ own classic technology, adiPRENE.

Unlike the previous release, this upcoming one is dropping in a more, loveable color, Blush. Although Kim herself called it “Mud Rat” before, it seems like she wasn’t able to make the name stick on the shoe.

Stock level & Resale Value

Although the Super Moon Yellow seems to be the most limited Yeezy Desert Rat 500 so far, the Stock level of the Blush doesn’t seem any more sneakerhead-friendly.

When Asked about the stock level of the Blush, The YeezyMafia said it was very limited. They added next, that it would be as limited as the Yebras.

That’s not a very happy news for all those sneakerheads so eager to cop the Kicks. But in terms of resale value, the few lucky ones who get their hands on a pair, know that they can make a decent profit from reselling. At least more profit than they could’ve made from selling the $760 Super Moon Yellow.

Release Information

No specific date is assigned yet to these sneakers, but from what we have so far, it will see the light sometime in February or March.

This Colorway of the Yeezy Desert Rat, will release in a classic way and will retail at $200. A lot more affordable than the Super Moon Yellow, which dropped in a 3-piece set that cost as high as $760. Now all sneakerheads will get a chance at copping these. If they get their hands on a pair before they sell out.Expect the Yeezy Desert Rat 500 Blush to release on YeezySupply, Adidas and a limited number of Adidas Stockists.

What More to Expect?

We thought 2017 was a good year for Adidas and Yeezys, but apparently, it’s nothing compared to 2018. We have so many Yeezys dropping in 2018, that we just can’t decide which one is the best.
2 new Yeezy Boost 350 V2 colorways, Sesame and Ice Yellow, are dropping as part of the SS18 releases. In addition to another iteration of the Yeezy Desert Rat 500, now dubbed Pirate Black, and the Black Powerphase Calabasas which got rescheduled for Spring 2018.
We also haven’t forgotten about the Triple Black and White Gum Yeezy WaveRunner 700. Where are they BTW?

So get ready sneakerheads! The 2018 Yeezy releases train is moving soon, and if you’re not on board in time, you might as well wait for the Ls train to pick you up.
