The thing about Yeezy 350s is that we never seem to have enough of them. It’s the ultimate favorite Yeezy model and our biggest dream is to add all 350 colorways to our sneaker collection. Of course, this includes color-changing light up Yeezys like the new Adidas Yeezy Light.
Yes, that’s right. Yeezys that light up. And, we’re not talking about those glow-in-the-dark or reflective ones. We’re talking about UV-sensitive sneakers that light up under sunlight. That means sneakers that are sensitive to ultraviolet light that makes it change color.
If that sounds like it’s too good to be true, then you don’t know Kanye. If a sneaker designer wants to make a UV-sensitive sneaker, then it’ll be none other than Mr. Kanye West. We know it’s been a while since we’ve heard much from Adidas or Yeezus – especially with the end of Q2.
We had some new Yeezy material and buzz on the new YZY collab. But, August does seem to be the most promising month of this year! With Kanye’s tenth studio album, Donda on its way right up after Yeezy Day – we got a lot of work to do.
Starting with the light up Yeezys. Here’s everything you need to know about the drop of the new Yeezy Light coming up this August.
Will Light Up Yeezys Give Us the Lit Summer We Finally Deserve?
The mark of a true Yeezy comes from its monochromatic muted colorway. And, if it happens to have an extra cool feature like being UV sensitive, it usually stops there. The new Yeezy Light features a UV-sensitive stripe and Primeknit. Other than that, it’s basically another Cream White or Yeezy 350 Butter. On the bright side, you can probably lace them up real special to give them some edge or character!
BUT, under the effects of direct sunlight, the pattern details should turn a soft pink with the side stripe turning a deep amber color. The full-on Boost takes on a yellowish vintage hue that matches the heel tabs. Not so bad. We are thankful to have our PK back though.

Where to Buy This YZY!
So, too excited to wait for the actual release? We get it. Light up Yeezys do sound exciting. You can get Yeezy Light early on GOAT or FlightClub for around $500. But, we do suggest that you practice a bit of patience. Especially that for $500 you can get any sneaker you like, whenever they drop!
Why pay more than double the retail price of this Yeezy when you can use that money to get a sneaker bot and cop on the release? Heck, you can be even smarter! With a little more money you can cop in bulk, and then SELL THEM. You’ll make yourself a couple of hundred bucks easily, and kick off your sneaker reselling career. Just a suggestion.
So, for reference, here’s where you can cop the new Yeezy Light.
