It’s really happening you guys. At last, Adidas confirms its collaboration with Dragon Ball Z. The Adidas Dragon Ball Z collection will begin rolling out its first two sneakers this month.
Adidas Dragon Ball Z Releases
Although the rumors told us to keep our eyes open in August, the month was DBZ-less. However, now that Adidas finally speaks up we can calm the F down. While the sneaker leakers may have been wrong about the drop date, they were right about some things.

With three of the most iconic battles re-imagined in sneaker form, the collaboration features seven silhouettes from the adidas Originals roster, carefully chosen to represent the characteristics of the heroes and villains to which they refer. Stay tuned for the first release later this month. — See other Originals drops at adidas.com/Originals
The Adidas Dragon Ball Z releases will drop in a battle-like fashion between hero and villain. As we already know, the first two to drop will be the Goku vs. Frieza sneakers. Goku’s ZX 500 RM and Frieza’s Yung-1 will battle it out sometime this September.
Next month, Son Gohan vs. Cell will go head to head. Initially to drop in September, now Gohan’s purple Deerupt and Cell’s green Prophere will come just in time for Halloween.
A relevant fact is that in September, a Dragon Ball Z movie will come to the big screen. According to Fathom Events, two screenings will take place on September 15 and 17. And then on November 3rd and 5th, two other Dragon Ball Z movies will screen.
That being said, the November releases consist of the characters Vegeta vs. Majin Buu. Speaking of which, we finally got more images of the Majin Buu Kamanda. But unfortunately, there’s only one look of Vegeta’s Oregon Ultra Tech and it’s not that exciting.
Finally, in December, drops Shenron’s EQT Support Mid ADV PK to wrap it all up. Despite rumors that there will be eight sneakers releasing, the Eternal Dragon will be the seventh and last shoe to drop in this collection.
Each of the sneakers come in premium packaging based on the shoe’s character. Sneaker leakers say that there will be action figures also dropping with the shoes, but we’ve yet to see those. The insoles are also Adidas DBZ themed. The shoes will be dropping at Adidas and Adidas retailers.
And in case you haven’t heard, the Yeezy 700 Waverunner in OG colorways will drop again on September 15.
