Next Supreme Drop: Supreme Nike SB Dunk Low [2019]

So Supreme and Nike have come back to us this 2019 with the new release of the Fall-Winter season’s star, the Supreme Nike SB Dunk Low sneakers!

This sneaker drops on the 5th of September, 2019. It drops TOMORROW! But this isn’t the first collab between the two. Supreme and Nike have history!

Walk Through History

This story began almost a decade ago, and has been going strong year after year! And it all began in 2002.

2002: Supreme Nike Dunk Low Pro SB

In the days where Nike SB’s were the most coveted pair of kicks on the face of the Earth, Supreme was slowly climbing the stairway to sneaker fame with the Supreme Nike Dunk Low  Pro SB.
Now that was NEWS!
Skaters and sneakerheads both were mind blown! S**t was about to go down!

Supreme Nike Dunk High Pro SB [2003]

This new partnership was a game-changer for Supreme, Nike, and the whole sneaker industry!

2003: Supreme Nike Dunk High Pro SB

The hype from the Dunk Low’s had Supreme high in 2003. And that’s why Supreme Nike decided to ride this wave and release the Supreme Nike Dunk High Pro SB!

This pair was released in Supreme stores over an entire period of one week, with different colors released on each day of this week; with only ONE pair per CUSTOMER per DAY.

2004: Supreme Nike Delta Force 3/4 SB

The functional low-key chill sneaker! This was the idea of perfect skater shoes, made for the skateboarding life.

It sported tonal colorways and wasn’t accented with any sort of in-your-face brand logos, so it stuck around in stores from some while and didn’t raise much of a hype! Supreme Nike Blazer SB [2006]But still a pretty awesome pair of kicks for everyday skateboarding.

2006: Supreme Nike Blazer SB

Now onto to the boojee Gucci kinda vibes of Supreme Nike with the Supreme Nike Blazer SB in 2006! This sneaker turned dress shoe earned major approval from fashion novas and sneakerheads everywhere.

And this basic sneaker had a major makeover! It featured premium quilted leather uppers, faux snakeskin Swoosh, gold lace tips and more! Talk about fancy!

2007: The Nike Air Trainer 2 TW

This pair of kicks stirred quite the hype! So much so that their release announcement had fans up and down the street in front of Supreme stores!
This forced Supreme to sell their entire stock in just ONE DAY to avoid the hectic chaos!

Fun fact: These shoes were actually designed for gym rats and weight lifters! 

2009: Supreme Nike Bruin Low SB

To cater for them everyday sneakers, Supreme Nike hit us with the Bruin SB; perfect for that walk down the block kinda thing.

2010: Supreme Nike SB 9420

In 2010, Supreme Nike came up with this whole new sneaker design that resembled a pair of Dunks but is also skater-friendly; The SB 94 hi-top. 

These were EXCLUSIVELY designed by Supreme and engineered by Nike. It was Supreme’s way of honoring their past and paving a road of success in the future. This pair was rereleased in 2011 but with a twist. It was a mashup Supreme Nike Air Force 1 [2012]between sneakers and Timberlands for them snowy Winter days.

2012: Supreme Nike Dunk Low Pro SB

2012 marked the comeback of Dunk Low Pro SB. 10 years after its first release in 2002. So that same year, Supreme and Nike brought military pride and sneaker passion together to bring the  Air Force 1 Low.

2013: Supreme Nike Tennis Classic SB

Tennis shoes? In 2013 Supreme Nike came up with the SB Tennis Classic which featured subtle yet great attention to details. It was based on the 1975 court sneaker which was named after the world-famous lawn tennis tournament.
5 Months later, the Supreme Nike FlyKnit Lunar 1+ dropped! Showing that the streetwear giant catered to more than just skaters.

Supreme Nike Foamposite 1 [2014]

2014: Supreme Nike Foamposite 1

In 2014, Supreme moved away from lows and opted to recreate some of the most iconic high top sneakers for Nike. This included the Nike Air Foamposite. And every feature in that pair screamed luxury and style!

In Addition, Supreme released 3 color options of the Nike AF1 High. This Supreme version was available in Black, White, and Red and Showed Supreme’s Logo on the back of the heel and the words “World Famous” on the ankle strap.

Supreme Nike Air Jordan 5 [2015]

2015: Supreme Nike Air Jordan 5

Collaborating with Jordan brand in 2015, we were blessed with the release of Air Jordan 5!

What was so amazing about this pair was that Jordan Brand even allowed Supreme to remove the famous 23 (MJ’s team number) and replacing it with ‘94 (Supreme’s founding year) on the side heel of these shoes! And til today, this AJ5 is one of the biggest outcomes of the Supreme Nike partnership.

2016: Supreme Nike Air Max 98

These kicks quickly became the most popular sneakers any runner could possibly dream of. They basically resurrected the Air Max 98, bringing it back into the lives of sneakerheads.
And then, during the FW season of 2016, Supreme brought back the Nike  SB Blazer Low GT, but with a cleaner more toned down finish.Supreme Nike Air More Uptempo [2017]

2017: Supreme Nike Air More Uptempo

Taking a walk down memory lane, Supreme drew inspo from Nike’s ‘90s basketball sneakers to make the Air More Uptempo in 2017 with the infamous Supreme logo wrapped around it.

Then, curving back onto a more unique road, Supreme joined forces once again with Comme des Garcons and brought back AF1 with a new look!

Supreme Nike Air Force 1 Mid .NBA [2018]

2018: Supreme Nike Air Force 1 Mid/NBA

During SS18, Supreme collaborated with Nike and NBA in creating the F1 Mid which featured NBA team logos all over the shoes!

During the same season, Supreme Nike came up with the Supreme Nike Air Streak Spectrum Plus, then, SB Gato, and finally, to end 2018, Supreme teamed up again with Comme des Garcons SHIRT to release the Air Force 1 Low in just one colorway!

2019: Supreme Nike Air Max Tailwind 4

With a totally different take on silhouettes, and the resurrection of the Air Max Tailwind 4 from the year 1999. They featured actual air bubbles and breathable mesh! They even came with matching hats!

Then again with Supreme Nike Air Jordan 14, whose design was inspired by Michael Jordan’s love for Italian sports cars.

Dropping tomorrow on the 5th of September, 2019 is a new Supreme Nike SB Dunk Low!
