Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Peanut Butter to Replace the Ice Yellow in June 2018

From what we’ve been seeing lately, it looks like Adidas and Kanye are done experimenting with crazy colorways and patterns. A new Yeezy Boost 350 v2 dubbed Sesame is dropping in August 2018. But you probably already know that. What’s very new to the scene, however, is the fact that the Ice Yellow which was dropping in June, will now be replaced by the Peanut Butter colorway.

The latest Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Peanut Butter was announced last night by the infamous Yeezy Leakers, the Yeezymafia. 4 days earlier they actually tweeted this:

Which made no sense at the time. But now it’s all clear. This new colorway will be, for now, the official Yeezy release for June 2018.

Now, if we dig deeper into the matter you can see that Kanye and Adidas learned from their last trials. The Yeezy Boost Semi Frozen Yellow was met with loads of hate from sneakerheads. It did sell out, as all Yeezys do, but probably for the sole purpose of reselling them. And despite the fact that these were the most limited 250 v2s ever, their resale value is relatively low. So maybe, just maybe, team Yeezys didn’t feel like making that same mistake again.

On the other hand, previous releases seem to have been a lot more successful. Some great examples are the Yeezy Boost and . Those very tonal and subtle colorways are still making more than 500% pure profit for those very very lucky sneakerheads who managed to cop them.

That number is so tempting, Adidas and Kanye are now releasing 2 similarly tonal colorways the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Peanut Butter and Sesame. Hopefully, these will do as well as the previous earthy-colored Yeezys are doing on the resellers’ market.

This latest addition to the V2 family features an earthy tonal primeknit, with no animal pattern nor the SPLY-350 Branding throughout the uppers. Needless to say, it features BOOST material in the midsoles, caged by GUM Outsoles. In fact, it looks very much like the Sesame dropping in August, but the color seems to be somewhat darker.

Expect the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 peanut Butter to release in June 2018 for the usual retail price of $220.
