Are the Yeezy Mafia playin’ with our emotions on purpose? Or is the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Butter some kind of tactic to rule out the fufu market? If you’ve asked yourself the same, you’re not alone!
A couple of days ago, the Yeezy Mafia sent out a flash update concerning the upcoming Yeezy Boost 350 V2. As it seems, we assume they were also just as surprised as you all are. Of course, they needed to get everyone’s attention first so they tweeted this:

Following the ominous yet sarcastic tweet, they announced that the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Butter will be replacing the Peanut Butter colorway.
Announcing the Yeezy BOOST 350 V2 Butter, or are we?
We went from Peanut Butter to just Butter in a matter of about 10 days. Not to mention that Peanut Butter was supposed to be replacing the Ice Yellows. Now we have a replacement for the replacement. But, can we even trust that Butter is the final colorway?
is it gonna be a different colour next week

Allegedly, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Butter will not feature a gum outsole. As for rarity, it will fall between the Belugas and Oreos, making it pretty limited. It, or whatever the final colorway is, will be dropping in June 2018.
Fifty Shades of Yeezy
We’re getting so many shades and variations of the same neutral color. We just thought we’d save Kanye the trouble and layout 50 of the possible colorways he can choose from until the release day arrives.
But WHYYY?
I think it’s a marketing strategy for the fakes being out before the authentic‘s… gotta confuse the fake production

A lot of sneakerheads feel like Kanye is being too indecisive about his own designs. But someone had the interesting idea that this could be a ploy from Adidas and Kanye to fight off the fake sneaker producers. While that’s an interesting idea, Nathan, it’s highly unlikely that Adidas is doing this just to fight the fakes.
However, this kind of publicity serves to get back that hype for Yeezys after a somewhat quiet season. It keeps sneakerheads on their toes and waiting for more updates. And we all know that Kanye and the Kardashians are no strangers to publicity- be it good or bad. They’re just doing what they’re good at.
Anyways, you can expect a whole load of limited kicks to drop this year. The Yeezy 500, Pharrell’s new NMD packs, the Dragon Ball Z collection and even some pretty interesting Nike releases.
