The Nike Dunks are one of the Swoosh’s most coveted and hyped sneaker models out there. And so, Nike has definitely capitalized on people’s love for the kicks dropping tons of colorways and endless designs. In fact, some might say that Nike may have milked it too much. However, with the upcoming Nike Dunk Low Remastered, they’re doing things a little differently.
So, if you don’t know much about Dunk history, these kicks date all the way back to the 80s! Actually, the very first Dunk dropped in the same year that the Air Jordan 1s did – just a few months after! This is one of the biggest reasons that sparked the Dunks VS Air Jordan 1 debate. But, although the Air Jordans came a long way since 1985 with 37 models; the Dunks haven’t changed much. Of course, Nike does play around with the collar heights, materials, and color scheme. But, the most drastic change they’ve done to it was the High Up or Disrupt 2.Â
Well, with the Nike Dunk low Remastered, that’s about to change! This will be the biggest redesign TO DATE. It’s not going to be just a facelift or a nip and tuck, no. It will be reimagined and remastered in a completely different way. And, to kickstart the launch, Nike is dropping a new Nike Dunk Low Remastered in Olive Green!

NIKE DUNK LOW REMASTERED
OLIVE GREEN
So, the Nike Dunk Low Remastered 3.0, although redesigned, still holds the key characteristics that Peter Moore put in. In other words, it still maintains the same components of the original Dunks but deconstructed. First, it comes in olive-tinted tumbled leather overlays with a darker olive-green mesh base. The overlays cover the mudguards, eyestays, and heels of the sneakers with a dark brown mesh collar lining at the heels. And, upon closer inspection, the eyestays have stitching details with hidden eyelets underneath.Â
Also, the tongue itself gives off the vibe of being turned inside out for a more deconstructed look. It features internal stitching details and exposed foam. And, to bring in some nostalgic vibes into the mix, the soles come with full-length Air Strobel units in the cream-colored midsole. Plus, it even comes with new traction patterns on the outsoles.
Finally, for branding, the Nike Dunk Low Remastered comes with a very exaggerated Swoosh on the sides. And the “Nike” logo on the tongue with no heel branding. And, final details also include the specks of Safety Orange overlays at the mid panels! So, make sure you check more photos of the Dunks below!
