The Union Jordan most epic sneaker collaboration continues to create even more epic sneakers! The new UNION x JORDAN 2 has finally emerged via official images being teased for the better part of October!
The first colorway of the Nike Air Jordan 2 dropped in 1986 which marks its 35th anniversary as of this year. And we all know that Nike and the Jordan Brand are big on celebrating anniversaries. So, it is very obvious that to celebrate such a momentous event, they have to go with a special Jordan collab. And so, the streetwear brand Union LA makes the perfect candidate for a celebratory release!
The second signature Michael Jordan sneaker is obviously getting some GOAT treatment lately – no longer treated like the middle kid. Especially considering the most recent Jordan 2 x Off-White collaboration. Let’s find out more about the UNION Jordan 2 collaboration coming up!
UNION JORDAN 2
In the spirit of the holiday season, Jordan Brand decided to drop a reworked UNION Jordan 2 model. The initial pictures of the mockups that circulated back in October showed a neon orange and pink Jordan. But, the official images show a completely clean icy blue and grey Jordan 2.
It features a light grey tone with varying shades of suede and canvas material with perforations across the sides. Not like tiny perforations, but like polka-dot-styled ankle panels. Plus, it has a mix of light grey nylon alongside the suede upper. However, the most prominent color is the cool grey but it also comes with vibrant blue detailing. Also, it has this kind of vintage detailing with slightly-yellowed laces and co-branded tongue labels with non-standard production tags. The release comes with another whole different colorway – the Rattan/Siren – but they haven’t disclosed it yet!

Other details include the bright yellow UNION LA tag on the eye stays with a retro identification tag on the ankle collar. Moreover, the exposed foam tongue carries co-branded tags and also has bright yellow insoles! Finally, the UNION Jordan 2 finishes off with crisp white outsoles. PLUS, it comes with a special box which is always exciting!
