Ladies and gentlemen, the moment you’ve all been waiting for! Kanye West finally decided to drop a Yeezy 350 in bright vivid colors that are nothing like any other 350! The Yeezy Yeshaya is one of the best Yeezy sneakers to date! We’re all psyched and can’t wait to cop! Well, we were… Until ‘Ye decided to drop the whole sneaker in bleach and drop a bombshell on our sneakerheads. Yes. You’ve probably already heard the bad news. It’s true. The Purple Yeezy Yeshaya has left the building. All we have now is a new Yeezy 350 in 50 shades of grey. Again. It’s an understatement to say that the sneaker community is disappointed. So, what happened?
Before you look into the big mess of a Yeezys, check out 2021’s Yeezy lineup. It’s so versatile you’ll definitely find your sole mate here.
Yeezy Yeshaya? Is That You?
If you’re new to the sneaker game, you probably won’t see why we’re so angry about this color change. But, the thing is, we have way too many colorways JUST LIKE THIS ONE. Literally. How many pairs of neutral gray-white toned Yeezy Boost 350 sneakers can one person have? How many pairs would you want anyway? Just this year, we had Lundmark, Cloud White, Hyperspace, and Static; ALL that look pretty alike. Don’t believe us? Well, how about a little sneakerhead initiation game?
But, don’t feel bad if you get a bit blindsided. We were too. Don’t worry though. Your sneakerhead cred won’t be affected! If you look at it the first time, you’d think they were all the same sneakers just in different lightings. Crazy.
Also, to make matters worse, the 2020 Yeezy lineup includes the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 TAILGATE which looks EXACTLY LIKE YEEZY YESHAYA. It doesn’t resemble it. NO. It’s freaking Yeshaya. So, it’s confusing. It really is.
Answer Key: (Left to Right) Static- Yeshaya – Lundmark – Hyperspace – Cloud White
Did you get it right?
The “New” New Yeezy 350 Yeshaya
So, Yeshaya is a part of the Biblical Pack. Yecheil and Yeezreel already dropped, and THEY WERE AS PROMISED. Yeezreel dropped in the neon green colorway and Yecheil in black and speckled with some color. Just as Adidas announced them. You could tell that this whole Yeshaya thing pissed us off. But, the old colorway was so good!
But this was not the first purple Yeezy mockup to go unreleased. In fact, back in 2017, the Yeezy red night was one of the most talked-about colorways. However, that version much like the Purple Yeezy Yeshaya didn’t make it to the public. And the only purple Yeezys you’ll find now are just fakes!
Anyways, the Yeezy Yeshaya is not a vibrant purple anymore. It now features grey hues throughout the Primeknit upper with white midsoles and light gum rubber outsoles. Very original. We’re also going to have a reflective version of it.
‘Ye, you’re not really redeeming what you did. Let’s hope the move to the US speeds up a bit, so things like this don’t happen again. Yeshaya drops sometime early in 2020 for a retail price of $220.
So, will the Yeezy Yeshaya sellout like Yeezreel did? They probably will. But how long will they take to disappear off shelves? We don’t know. Frustration aside. The sneakers that Yeshaya looks like, all did pretty well on resale platforms. So, if you’re looking into making some money, you can never go wrong with a Yeezy 350. Bonus, it’s reflective! You might as well cop when it drops. But for the time being, we’re just going to concern ourselves with the upcoming sneaker releases. We gotta get that Christmas sneaker list finished in time! We’ll think about Yeshaya when we get to it!
