A look back at The First Yeezy Beluga release

Kanye West successfully planted the seed back in February 2015, when he joined Adidas. And since then he is enjoying the fruit of his labor related to a successful collaboration with Adidas. The Adidas Yeezy Line got a new member of the family this year: The one and Only Yeezy Beluga! It was officially presented during the Yeezy Season 4 show on September 7th and released on September 24th to all Adidas retailers. Retail price on the release day was $220.

Design

There are some strong Yeezy Boost 350 vibes when you take a first look at the shoe. Key changes are including graphic with ‘’SPLY-350’’ text on it, more prominent heel with internal 3 stripes detail on it, translucent midsole as well as internal toe box reinforcement. Although the model is limited as the rest of the Yeezys, there are several colorways to choose from: army green/black, black/white, grey/solar red, black/copper, grey/black, and grey/black with a green sole.
