Yeezy fans and sneakerheads are in for a shock. If they thought they had a hard time copping a pair the kicks before, things just got worse. The new Adidas Yeezy Semi Frozen Yellow sneakers are coming out soon. But, they will probably be the most limited in the history of Yeezy 350 V2s and possibly even the heardest to cop.
Adidas & Kanye’s highly popular sneakers are always in high demand. And this made copping Yeezys a very tricky task. But now, knowing that the Yeezy Yebras are gonna be so limited, our job just got a whole lot harder. According to the Yeezy Mafia, the highly anticipated Semi Frozen Yellow is dropping in December. And we can’t think of a better holiday gift for a sneakerhead!
The Yeezy Semi Frozen Yellow
The rumor surrounding Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Semi Frozen Yellow sneakers have been swirling for some time. For months, social media accounts and news sites have been buzzing about the new colorway. And that’s kinda the norm with new Yeezy releases.
But the colorway is far from normal this time. Far from plain, earth-toned or Black Yeezys. The on this Yeezy Boost 350 v2 are a bit too much to take in at first. But stare long enough and they’ll grow on you. The actual style number for this edition is #B37572. This model will feature the trademark SPLY-350 branding. However, instead of the old standard red color, the SPLY-350 is more Orange. As for the retail price, it’s the usual $220.
Pictures Of This Model Available
Images of the Yeezy Boost v2 in Semi Frozen Yellow are already available on the web. And Twitter is bursting with comments about the new unique and eye-catching colorway. But to be honest, the yellows aren’t to everyone’s liking. Some sneakerheads just love the bold pattern/ colorway combo, and some aren’t feeling it. One more feature that wasn’t there at first is the gum outsoles. Early images showed a uni-colored sole in Yellow, but we can spot some brown accents now. The Gum outsoles cage the boost material and go all the way back reaching below the ankle.
But what does this mean for Yeezy Zebra fans and sneaker lovers all over? Should they concede defeat and give up on their hopes of getting a pair? Will sneakerheads and Yeezy addicts simply throw in the towel? Or is there something they can do? Are there any easy ways to get Yeezy Zebra re-released sneakers?
The Popularity Of Yeezy Zebras
For years now, the Adidas & Kanye West Yeezy Zebra kicks have been one of the most sought after sneakers on the market. Their limited stock led to a very high markup which drew more interested fans in.
So, many sneakerheads are now joining the game to flip Yeezys and make thousands out of them. A great example would be the Adidas Yeezy Zebras selling for almost $1,500 to $3,000. Sites such as eBay and Amazon have hundreds of sellers offering Yeezy Zebras to those who couldn’t cop at retail. So if anything, Adidas Yeezys are now more of a profitable investment than collectibles.
Prepare For The Yeezy Holidays Chaos
Sneaker critics and fans are already making predictions about the new hot Yeezys. They speculate that the new Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Semi Frozen Yellow will be one of the hottest holiday items around. The fact that this colorway is releasing for the first time only adds up to the overall popularity & hype. Since they will be even more limited than previous models, that will also make this model sell out faster.
The end result is that everyone who wants a new pair of Yeezys should be ready. The holidays are already chaotic enough without having to stay up all night for a pair of kicks. True Yeezy addicts and sneaker fanatics, should begin to prepare now. Do whatever you must to make sure you will get a chance to cop your pair. Write Santa, rant on social media or camp out in stores locations. Whatever you do, if you manage to get a pair of the new Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Semi Frozen Yellow, consider yourself very lucky.
Update 2019
Almost a year later, the Yeezy Semi Frozen Yellow restocked globally. And so what was the most limited V2 became somewhat more available. And based on supply & demand rules, this restock brought the resale price of the Yebras down. So even if you missed out the second time, copping at resale wasn’t as traumatizing anymore.
And again in August 2019, the Frozen Yellows appear on the long Yeezy Deadstock day. This time, however, they joined the party along with over 20 Yeezys. It’s like helping sneakerheads fill out the missing spots from their collection.
